Princess Anne Hospitalized With Concussion and Minor Injuries After Incident, Buckingham

King Charles III’s sister Princess Anne has been hospitalized after sustaining “minor injuries and concussion” over the weekend.

Buckingham Palace confirmed the news about Anne, whose official title is the Princess Royal, on Monday. Royal reporters have suggested online that the accident, which took place at the princess’ country home, was horse-related.

The 73-year-old royal, who is the younger sister of King Charles, is an avid horse-rider. Earlier this month, she took part in the ceremonial Trooping the Colour parade outside of Buckingham Palace on horseback. Her love of horses was documented in the Netflix series “The Crown,” in which Anne was played by Erin Doherty and Claudia Harrison.
